Talent Atlas GmbH
Senior Recruiter

You connect people with work that genuinely fits their experience and motivation. As a Senior Recruiter, you own demanding searches from the initial briefing through to a hiring decision. You act as a thoughtful partner to hiring teams and a reliable point of contact for candidates, including when requirements change during a search.
Your responsibilities
Run structured briefings to understand the outcomes a new colleague should deliver, and translate the team's expectations into clear, observable selection criteria.
Develop targeted sourcing strategies, research relevant talent communities and approach candidates with personal messages that explain why the opportunity could fit them.
Conduct initial conversations, explore motivation and relevant experience, and document your assessment using specific examples rather than a general first impression.
Coordinate interviews with hiring teams, prepare decisions and keep candidates informed about feedback, outstanding questions and the next steps in the process.
Investigate searches that are not progressing, challenge conflicting expectations constructively and recommend practical adjustments to the profile, sourcing approach or interview process.
Share useful interview questions and sourcing insights with colleagues, and support difficult searches without taking responsibility away from the person leading them.
What you bring
You have independently managed recruiting projects and can explain how you approached hard-to-reach audiences, changing requirements or difficult conversations with hiring teams.
You are comfortable with active sourcing and structured interviews, and distinguish evidence from assumptions when assessing a candidate's experience and potential fit.
You keep applicant tracking records current, handle confidential information carefully and communicate clearly in both German and English throughout the hiring process.
You organise several searches without losing sight of individual candidates and raise delays early, even when the conversation is uncomfortable.
How we work together
You work closely with recruiting colleagues and the responsible hiring teams. Regular case discussions focus on search strategy and interview quality. The number of messages sent is not the whole story: candidates should understand the process, and hiring decisions should be supported by relevant evidence.
Your first steps
You first learn about current searches, our applicant tracking workflow and interview guides. After observing briefings and interviews, you take on a search with an experienced colleague available for discussion. Your responsibilities then grow with the types of mandate you can confidently manage.
A look at your day-to-day work
For example, a specialist role remains open after several interviews. You review the feedback and discover conflicting expectations about seniority. You organise a new briefing, refine the selection criteria and update the sourcing approach. You also explain the changes clearly to candidates already involved in the process.
Role details and your application
