You design digital services that people can understand without a lengthy explanation. From initial orientation to forms and confirmation messages, you make the next step clear. You stay involved through implementation and check whether an interaction works as well in everyday use as it did in the prototype.

Your responsibilities

• Review existing user journeys and feedback to identify where people cannot find information, misunderstand a step or leave before completing a task.

• Develop information architecture, wireframes and interactive prototypes, making alternative approaches and the reasoning behind your recommendation visible to the wider team.

• Design responsive lists, detail pages and forms, including empty states, long content, validation, loading behaviour and helpful messages when something goes wrong.

• Plan small usability studies, observe people without explaining the interface to them and revise your proposals using the evidence you collect.

• Maintain reusable design-system components and work with engineering to make new variants accessible, consistent and practical to implement across different screen sizes.

What you bring

• You have experience designing digital products and can use work examples to explain your journey from an initial problem to a tested solution.

• You use a prototyping tool confidently and think in components and interaction states rather than treating every screen as an isolated composition.

• You consider keyboard access, readable content and sufficient contrast, and are interested in understanding the technical constraints that actually affect a design.

• You discuss feedback constructively, make unresolved questions visible and document decisions so that colleagues can continue the work without relying on memory.

How we work together

You work with product management, engineering and colleagues who speak directly with customers. Reviews happen early enough to explore alternatives. During implementation checks, you consider content and behaviour as well as visual details, paying particular attention to smaller screens and less common interaction states.

Your first steps

You begin with a guided product walkthrough and an introduction to the design system. You then improve a small user journey, run a first usability check and follow its implementation. This gives you a practical understanding of our decision-making before you own larger connected areas.
